Terms of use

The Open Investment Model (OpenIM) is an open reference model. These terms are short because the project is simple: open content, open software, no operated service.

Licence

The model, its exports, and the project's software (including the OpenIM MCP server) are released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute them, commercially or otherwise, under that licence's conditions.

As-is, no warranty

Everything is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as the MIT License states. The maintainer is not liable for any claim or damages arising from use of the model or software.

No operated service

This website serves static content, and the MCP server runs locally on your own machine. The project operates no backend, holds no accounts, and offers no service level of any kind.

Not investment advice

OpenIM is a reference model for architecture, data, and operating-model work. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not a substitute for professional judgement. Nothing produced by the model, the site, or the software should be relied on for investment decisions.
